
Lysanne Louter
Emmy Award-winning Producer/Director, CBC the fifth estate
Lysanne Louter is an International Emmy Award winning
producer and director of documentaries with Canada's
premiere investigative current affairs program, CBC's the
fifth estate. She won numerous Canadian film and television
awards for her documentary "Made in Bangladesh," about
the Rana Plaza garment factory collapse that killed more
than 1,100 people. Before joining the team at the fifth
estate, Lysanne field produced news and current affairs for
CBC's The National in London, Montreal, Toronto and
locations around the world - including stories about Aung
San Suu Kyi's election in Myanmar, the ruthless Abu Sayyaf
in the Southern Philippines, the economic chill in China,
ghost cities in Inner Mongolia and the housing crisis in the
Canadian North. She lives in Toronto.
