
Jeffery Tam
Managing Editor, Rogers Sportsnet
Jeffery Tam is Managing Editor for Rogers Sportsnet,
overseeing the news gathering, planning and production
for four daily newscasts across seven channels.
Jeffery has spent two decades in broadcast news,
working with Rogers, CTV and CBC to cover some of the
biggest news stories of our time. He has been on the
road for federal elections, live from New Orleans after
Hurricane Katrina, in Los Angeles for Michael Jackson’s
memorial, and in Slave Lake, Alberta as a massive
wildfire destroyed the town. He has also produced live
shows in Paris, Japan and all across Canada.
Jeffery was also an integral member of the broadcast teams for the Olympic Games in Vancouver,
London and Sochi. In 2007, he moved to Vancouver to head up CTV Canada AM’s Olympic coverage as
Olympics producer, and then in 2010, he was Senior Producer for Olympic Morning and Supervising
producer for the Paralympic Games. In 2012, Jeffery expanded his Olympic role as Supervising Producer
for Canada’s Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London.
Then, in 2014, Jeff moved to CBC Television where he acted as features producer for the Winter Olympic
Games in Sochi.
Jeff is a follower of Canadian politics, an avid Habs fan, and owner of 1% of a share in Arsenal Football
Club.
